Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Senior Developer to join our team and help us to continue building great software for our clients.
Our software is continually being developed so a successful candidate will be adding new features and developing the products. As part of a small development team you will be making changes to software that is used daily by people around the UK and increasingly across the world.
Developments will include whole new modules as well as adding enhancements to existing features.
You will be involved in the planning of new features and bring these ideas to life in a way that really helps our clients. The software you develop will make a real difference to our clients as you will see from the feedback received when your work is released.
You must have at least 5 years commercial programming experience working with other developers. As a Senior Developer you may also be involved in mentoring and supporting other developers ensuring that code is written to a high standard.
Duties:
- Writing code to a high standard
- Reviewing / Submitting PRs via Github
- Manage roll out of new features including development, testing and release
- Technical environment; PHP, Laravel and CodeIgniter, MySQL, React, AWS, Rest APIs, Docker, Trello
Skills:
- PHP, SQL (MySQL), JavaScript, CSS, XML, HTML5, JQuery, AJAX, JSON, Laravel or CodeIgniter, GitHub
- The will to explore and experiment with new technologies.
- Excellent testing methodology
- Able to handle pressure and tight deadlines
- Ideally with experience working on AWS services (S3, EC2, CloudFront)
